GeneSeq® Report Interpretation

GeneSeq consistently provides comprehensive and accurate genotypic results with over 99% reproducibility and test sensitivity, allowing for analysis of samples with as few as 500 copies/mL.

A. Comprehensive Genotype
The GeneSeq algorithm interprets results for protease inhibitors (PIs), non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NNRTIs), and nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs).

B. Resistance-Associated Mutations
Detected mutations associated with resistance are listed for each antiretroviral drug.

C. Prediction of Reduced Susceptibility
Prediction of Resistance based on the proprietary algorithm is clearly provided for each drug.

D. Expert Interpretation Algorithm
The GeneSeq algorithm is based on published scientific literature and proprietary information from the Monogram Biosciences' phenotype-genotype database.

E. Complete Mutation List
A complete list of all mutations detected in the patient sample, including polymorphisms, is categorized by reverse transcriptase and protease.
