Continuum Overview
The effective management of antiretroviral therapy, from therapy initiation to late-stage treatment failures, requires complete information about the virus and the patient. There are four critical components that make up the information aspect of the treatment continuum; they are: drug resistance testing, replication capacity measurement, viral load and CD4 count, and treatment history.
